Samantha D. Munda
President

Samantha Munda, known as “Bo” to close friends, bought the business in August 2002. Bright, energetic, and full of ideas, she began her career at Secretariat as an Account Executive, but quickly moved up the ranks to Vice President. Poised with 14 years of event planning experience, she is well suited for her current position as President. Samantha first got her start working part time for her mother, a successful event planner in Manhattan, when she was just 16 years old. A graduate of Pine Manor College in Boston, Massachusetts, Samantha continued working in the Boston area for 6 years as a Marketing and Event Manager for The Brew Moon Restaurant and Microbrewery Group. Samantha and her husband Graham, a Wilmington native, settled down in Wilmington in 2000. She is currently a member of Wilmington Rotary and Wilmington Women in Business.

Kelly S. Osbun
Vice President

Kelly Osbun joined Secretariat in 2002 from Empire Golf and Hospitality. She worked as a consultant planning executive meetings, weddings and golf outings. She not only organized the events but also traveled throughout the area to promote the events. Prior to Empire, Kelly took part in many event-planning opportunities, including a yearlong internship with AstraZeneca. In addition, Kelly brings to us, seven years in the hospitality industry. A Wilmington native, Kelly is a graduate of The Wilmington Friends School and The University of Delaware, where she was president of her senior class. She now resides in Wilmington and after joining Secretariat as an Event Manager, Kelly is now Vice President.

Andrea Finn
Consultant

Andrea Finn first joined Secretariat in 1999 as an Account Executive and Office Manager. She was new to the industry and successfully handled her first event without any prior experience. Now, after four years, she has planned everything from a large three-venue festival to small back yard picnics with ease. Andrea has outstanding organizational skills and the attention to detail that our clients need. After a leave of absence to start a family, Andrea has recently returned to Secretariat as a part time consultant.


Rebecca Baird

Rebecca Baird first joined Secretariat's parent company, Breakthrough Communications, in 2000 as an Account Executive. As a graduate of The University of Delaware, Rebecca used her English degree and experience in advertising to manage the coordination of events - both corporate and social. After leaving industry to start a new career as a High School English Language Arts teacher, Rebecca has recently returned to Secretariat as a part time consultant.
In addition to the above staff members, Secretariat has part-time consultants and other staff members available to fulfill the needs of our clients. These people have at one time or another worked for Secretariat in an event planning capacity and are still available to us on an as needed basis for events.

We are pleased to currently have a University of Delaware student working with us for her summer internship.
